Hurricane Plan

Whether we are in the office, traveling . . . or evacuated due to the potential landfall of a hurricane, we have in place procedures and means to continue to conduct your business without interruption. As always, June 1st is the start of hurricane season and part of our preparatory planning includes notice to clients and friends about how we’ll continue to operate regardless of storms in the Gulf of Mexico. In our effort to serve our clients promptly and efficiently, we like to keep you abreast of our hurricane readiness plan.

This year, as in past years, should a hurricane enter the Gulf of Mexico and threaten our area, we shall evacuate early with the necessary resources so that our families remain safe and we are poised to provide seamless, uninterrupted service to our valued clients. Should we need to evacuate, we will post a notice on the firm’s website, www.hardycarey.com, advising of our status and the various ways to reach the firm’s attorneys and staff. Whenever a hurricane is in the Gulf of Mexico, we encourage you to consult the website for the latest news on our firm. If for any reason you have difficulty reaching any of the firm’s attorneys or staff, or if you have other questions, the website will provide you with ways to connect with us. Our email, website, phone and other means of communication will remain in service despite any storm event. And, because all of the firm’s attorneys are equipped with mobile e-mail capability, our clients can always reach us. Also, in keeping with modern technology, our records are stored in electronic/digital format which enables us to readily access our client files and materials to serve your legal needs from wherever we are.

It remains our privilege to serve as your legal counsel. Should you have any questions or concerns about our planning now or prior to any storm, please feel free to contact us.
